Why is there so much to learn?

I am a relatively newbie to the world of internet marketing drawn by all the hype of making a passive income...
passive income is what I need, do something once and the dollars keep coming in.
I have other income from options trading although I'm not doing very well this last month but I know my mindset
is not in the right place so I'll get there. I also know how to help businesses with their marketing so am
considering placing an ad to help 10 clients. This will generate some good cashflow but I really want to grow
my passive income from internet marketing.
I have read and read and read and am probably information saturated at this stage and suffering from opportunity
paralysis. However just thinking about it there has to be an absolute fortune to be made on the internet for anyone
that is willing to be persistent and give it a big go. You have so many opportunities from simple Adsense sites to
Affiliate promotion sites to selling your own product. But where do you start... if I create my own product I get to
keep 100% of the profits so this is definetely the profitable way to go except it will take a long time to put into
place and I need profit now. The Affiliate route is simpler in that they have already set up and proven their sales
page and product and in most cases they are willing to give us 50% to promote their product. This will provide profit
fairly quickly. I have already tried setting up a Google ad driving traffic via my affiliate link to the supplier and
have been successful, infact I have broken even. What I need to do now is setup a dedicated web page that reviews
some similar product so prospects have a choice and I can possibly include Adsense on the page.
